Almanacs

A traditional almanac is an annual publication containing a calendar of predicted astronomical and meteorological data for a given year, including weather forecasts, farmers' planting dates, phases of the moon, tide tables, sunrise and sunset information, and other phenomena. Other almanacs may contain world records, population statistics, holiday and religious information, or predictions about trends in fashion, food, home decoration, technology and lifestyle for the upcoming year.
