All-Campus Book Club
We’re excited to share upcoming events taking place this semester at the Heaton Family Learning Commons in conjunction with the college’s focus and ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion including the inauguration of the first ever college-wide book club. Check back periodically throughout the semester as dates and times are finalized.
*The library has a limited number of copies of the three books. The titles are also available in paperback and Kindle formats on Amazon*

The college has selected The Souls of Clayhatchee: A Southern Tale in honor of Black History Month for February's all-campus read.
A virtual book talk with the author and native Pittsburgher Dr. Anthony Carlisle will take place on Thursday, February 24 from 12:45-2PM.

To celebrate LGBTQ+, the college has selected the transgender memoir Sorted: Growing Up, Coming Out, and Finding My Place by Jackson Bird as March's all-campus read.
Dr. Case Willoughby, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at BC3 will be leading the book discussion on Thursday, March 31 from 12:45-2PM.

To bring attention to the topic of mental health, the college has selected What Happened To You? Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing by Dr. Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey as April's all-campus read.
BC3 Professor Karen Stubenbort will be leading a book discussion on Tuesday, April 19 from 12:45-2PM in HFLC 232.
